About Lucinda

Lucinda is a professional Edinburgh based model and actress. She has been performing since age 3 training at The Manor School of Ballet for 10 years studying Ballet, Tap, Jazz and  Character. She has since danced for Street Beat Dance Troupe learning hip hop, street dance and cheerleading as well as having qualified for Britain's got Talent in 2009 with a team she selected and her own original choreography. She is currently employed by Freakout Entertainment as a freestyle dancer for events.

Her passion for theatre started at an early age having attended several Summer drama schools and being selected to perform in a senior school play (Higher level) at just age 6. After studying Philosophy and Politics at Stirling Universityfor 3 years (due to being encouraged by her school to take an academic route for higher learning) she auditioned for The Performing Arts Studio Scotland (PASS) to study HND Acting and Performance and recieved an unconditional place out of 500 auditionees and 1000 applicants. 

In 2010, Lucinda was selected to model for The Princes Trust Calendar which was where her modelling career began. Since then she has been published in The Evening News, The Daily Record, The Scotsman, The Metro and in various Scottish designers look books and is the face of several brands and websites. She also has presenting experience having been a presenter for Waffle TV throughout The Edinburgh Fringe festival 2012 interviewing the likes of The Blanks (Ted's band from 'Scrubs'), Will Merrick ('Alo' from Channel 4's 'Skins'), The Boy With Tape On His Face (Royal Variety act 2011) and many more.
